Hi, my name is Travis Affonso.   I am six years old from Manteca, California and I race quarter midgets! 
 

I have been racing quarter midgets since I was four and a half years old.  I currently drive two cars;  Junior

Honda and Junior Stock.    I drive for Rice Cars of Hayward, California under the direction of Ken Rice.
 

I have over 30 main event wins,  6 track records,  numerous podium finishes and many fast time awards.  I

currently race in Livermore,  San Jose,  Madera,  Sacramento,  Vallejo and  Los Angeles / Southern California.

Occasionally we race in Las Vegas and Primm, Nevada.   Sometime in the future we hope to race in

Portland, Oregon,  Phoenix, Arizona,   Indianapolis, Indiana,  and Denver, Colorado. 

We practice one to two nights per week testing tires, engines, gears, etc..  We usually travel to races on

Friday and return on Sunday two to three weekends per month, April through October. 

I have done TV interviews in Primm, Nevada and Oakland, California at the "Monster Jam" events.

Racing is an expensive sport.   My family works hard to provide me with the things I need to win and be safe.   Team Rice  and my other sponsors provide invaluable support and expertise.   It does however take resources to win, including;  parts,  fuel,  travel,  engines,  tires,  etc..  We are always looking for racing enthusiasts that want to sponsor a winning team.   We spend a lot of  time in Victory Lane and can provide solid advertising opportunities and lots of excitement for sponsors.
